Creator guidelines
The Grid. is for real creators sharing their own work. These guidelines apply to profiles, listings, collaboration requests and anything else you post.
Last updated October 26, 2026. Need this in your language? Use your browser's translate button, or email support@thegrid.studio.
List only work you made yourself, or work you have the rights to sell. That means no copies of other people's art, music, photos or writing, and no characters, logos or brands you don't have permission to use.
Samples, stock assets and fonts are fine when your licence allows commercial use. If a buyer or rights holder asks, you should be able to show that licence.
| Type of work | Allowed? |
|---|---|
| Made by you, no AI | Yes. |
| AI-assisted | Yes, if you say so in the description. You used AI as a tool (cleanup, a reference, a background element) and the work is substantially yours. |
| Fully AI-generated | Not in the Market for now. We plan to give AI-made work its own clearly labelled space later. |
Not sure where your work fits? Email us before listing and we'll help.
Illegal items or services, and anything that breaks the law where you or your buyer live.
Sexually explicit content. Artistic nudity in fine art, photography and similar work is fine.
Hate, harassment and threats, including content that attacks people for who they are.
Anything involving minors in a sexual or exploitative way. We report this to the authorities.
Weapons, drugs and counterfeit goods.
Spam and scams: misleading listings, fake reviews, or asking buyers to pay outside The Grid.
Other people's private information, such as addresses, phone numbers or photos shared without consent.
Describe your work accurately and use photos of the actual piece. Ship physical orders when you said you would, add tracking, and keep buyers informed. Answer collaboration requests, even if the answer is no, and be respectful with everyone you work with.
Use the Report option on any profile or listing, or email support@thegrid.studio. You can also block anyone from their profile menu.
We review every report. Depending on what we find, we may remove a listing, send a warning, or suspend or close an account. When an order is affected, we'll work with the buyer on a refund.
If your work appears on The Grid. without your permission, email support@thegrid.studio with the subject Copyright notice and include:
| Include | Details |
|---|---|
| 1. Your details | Your name and contact information, or those of the person you represent. |
| 2. The listing | A link to the listing or profile on The Grid. |
| 3. Your original | A link to, or copy of, your original work, or anything that shows it's yours. |
| 4. A statement | That you believe in good faith the use isn't authorised, and that the information you've given is accurate. |
What happens next: we'll hide the listing while we review, and let the seller know. The seller can reply with their side, for example proof of a licence. If the claim holds, the listing stays down. Accounts that repeatedly list other people's work are closed.
Please only send a notice for work you own or represent. False claims hurt real creators.
